Los versos los escribí oyendo la cara B del LP "Tubular Bells". Como siempre, reflejaba mis temores, mi estado de ánimo y mis deseos. El estribillo ya lo tenía en la cabeza de antes.

Why, i ask you, why do i feel down and why does the time cry in my ears? and why my arms hurt myself and i weep? why do i have so many years here. Some day soon  i think i'll see you and love you once again.  You take my hand and it hurt me and starts raining again and you talk, but i can't understand your words, i ask you to leave me and don’t smoke. The peace arrives to my poor self and my heart starts seeing a new light, the rain has gone to never come back and the puddles full the street around.
